NEW release from our Asiana Collection: exquisite antiqued Chinese style brass hardware for your next one-of-a-kind furniture upscaling project. It has beautiful hand-antiqued finish with byzantine light and dark golden hues. Yes! the scratches-like lines and low points were done intentionally to provide a worn vintage feel and look. The dimensions are: small 4"x4" and large 6.25"x6.25" side by side. Each lobe is about 4"x 2" (small) and 6.25"x 3.13" (large), respectively. This hardware has a twist clasp (see photos) for easy installation with decorative mini-nails included, for the authentic look and feel of a true heirloom furniture art you're looking for. Take a look at the photos to see the difference in color and size.
We sourced it to compliment our decoupage papers. In the photos it is paired with our textured hand printed semi-cooked rice paper and with our moody midnight garden decoupage paper for inspiration. Any decoupage paper will go fabulously. Or just pick the ugliest or boring boxy furniture you have (yep that Ikea or dorm chest you have in the garage collecting dust), painted in high gloss black or red, hammer distress the edges and gild them, add our Asiana hardware and you would have a modern chinoiserie piece for less than $50.00 (paint included, LOL).
