Our Whimsical Renaissance Fairies and Butterflies decoupage is A4 size and is printed on handmade Japanese rice paper. The distressed design is reminiscent of an antique oil painting. The hand woven fibers give the paper when applied and sealed the feel of fabric or very fine canvas.
The rice paper is much easier to work as it does not tear or wrinkle easily, making it perfect for beginner decoupagers and for application on aged or watered wood surfaces.
We recommend that you use a small amount of high quality medium for decoupage rather than ordinary glue to get the distressed old-world look and feel without reactivating the inks. Works great with crackling medium. We recommend using a spay sealer or sponge with your regular sealer. Do not over-brush to prevent streaking and wrinkles.
